Type: Support
DOB: 11/13/2003
Star Sign: Scorpio
Nationality: Korean
Appearance: Ha-yoon is a petite 5'4" with an unassuming, almost innocent face that belies her rebellious streak. Her black hair is styled in defiant double braided buns. Naturally black, her eyes shift to a bright blue when her Quirk is active. She has a slender build and an incredibly light frame.
Hero Outfit: She wears form-fitting outfit, featuring a sports bra under a long-sleeved crop top. Tactical pants with multiple pockets tucked into a pair of long tactical boots. A utility belt crisscrosses her chest, and she's fitted with fingerless gloves. The tough look is subtly contrasted by her tiny pink earrings and a simple black choker.
Daily Outfit: She still wears her sports bra and crop top, but now she's paired them with jeans and sneakers. The entire outfit is in lighter tones, and she's kept her signature pink heart earrings as a personal touch.
Name: Immovable Gaze
Type: Emitter
Description: By making direct eye contact with a target, she grants them absolute invincibility for as long as she maintains that eye contact without blinking. This invincibility means they are immune to all forms of physical and energy-based damage, and even certain status effects (like paralysis or knockout gas) might be negated if their physical integrity is maintained.
Drawbacks:
Eye Strain/Fatigue: Maintaining eye contact for extended periods is incredibly taxing. Her eyes become dry and sore, and prolonged use can lead to headaches, blurred vision, and even temporary blindness if pushed too far.
Vulnerability: While her target is invincible, Blindspot herself is completely vulnerable. She cannot move or defend herself effectively while using her Quirk, making her an easy target if discovered.
Line of Sight: The Quirk requires a clear, unobstructed line of sight. If anything blocks her vision or if the target moves out of her direct field of view, the invincibility immediately ends.
Focus: She can only affect one person at a time.
Activation Effect: Her eyes glow with that iridescent blue.
As a child, she experienced a traumatic event during a subway tunnel collapse. While she tried to save her parents, heroes arrived and evacuated her, but were unable to save them, which led to their deaths. This experience left her with a deep-seated anger and resentment towards heroes and a feeling that they're self-righteous and illogical. This event steered her away from becoming a hero herself and pushed her towards a morally ambiguous path, which eventually led her to be recruited by Dren Kross.
Ha-yoon's personality is defined by a deep-seated resentment and anger at the world, heroes in particular. She carries a simmering fury that manifests as bitterness and a quick temper, easily triggered by anything that reminds her of her past trauma.
Despite her anger, she's an impulsive idealist who dreams of a radically different world. Her ideals are passionately held, and she's easily swayed by anyone who validates her anger and reinforces her biases with "evidence." This makes her naively earnest and susceptible to manipulation, as she struggles to see ulterior motives in people who echo her convictions.
She is also eager to be understood and validated. Having been isolated by her long-held pain, she fiercely latches onto Dren Kross, who validates her anger and vision. This creates an intense loyalty; she views him as the only one capable of bringing about the change she craves and will follow his lead without question.
Her past and anger make her socially awkward and guarded. She struggles with small talk and quickly shuts down conversations that challenge her views, only opening up to those who seem to genuinely understand her pain.
She's part of Dren Kross' villain crew.
